As the RSA Chicago 2024 conference takes place in exactly one week, starting on Thursday, March 21, 2024, and lasting until Saturday, March 23, 2024, we would like to invite other participants to attend the panels we will be present(ing) at. Those are:
- ‘Poetry and the Arts in Renaissance Education and Pedagogy I‘ at 9:00 am on Thursday, March 21, chaired by Prof. Valentina Lepri,
- ‘Foreign Students in Early Modern Padua: Contributors and Disseminators of New Knowledge (1558–1655)‘, at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 21, with Dr. Dennj Solera (our collaborator) being an organizer and a presenter during this panel,
- ‘Reading the Liber Naturae in Early Modern Education‘ at 10:30 am, on Friday, March 22, organized and participated by Dr. Gábor Förköli and M.A. Gniewomir Hawrasz, chaired by Prof. Farkas Gábor Kiss, with another paper being delivered by Prof. Danilo Facca,
- ‘Friends and Others in Text and Image‘ at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 23, with a presentation by Dr. Alicja Bielak,
- ‘Performing as Knowing and Knowing as Performing in Early Modernity’ I, and II, at 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm, on Saturday, March 23, co-organized by Prof. Valentina Lepri who, along with Prof. Farkas Gábor Kiss, are also presenters at these sessions.
As the above contributions relate directly to our project and research, there will be one more presentation in a bit more distant, yet still interesting area:
- the paper ‘Mastering Materials: Santi Gucci, Pińczów Limestone, and Renaissance Sculpture in Poland‘ will be delivered by Dr. Olga M. Hajduk, at 3:50 pm on Friday, March 22.
